Our Database of Faces, (formerly "The CDI Database of Faces"), contains a set of celebreties images taken in different time and different pose. The database was used in the context of a face recognition and person identification project carried out in collaboration with the ITSeez Group of the Intel / Willow Garage.
There are twenty different images of each of twenty distinct subjects. For some subjects, the images were taken at different times, varying the lighting, pose, facial expressions, facial and hair details. All the images were taken against a varying background. A preview image of the Database of Faces is available.
The files are in JPG format, and can conveniently be viewed on WINDOWS (TM), MAC (TM) and UNIX (TM) systems using the standard program. The size of each image are differ from image to image (minimum is , maximum is ). There is a full colored images. The images are organised in twenty directories (one for each subject), which have names of the form "X Y", where X indicates the subject first name and Y indicates subject's last name. In each of these directories, there are twenty different images of that subject, which have names of the form Z.jpg, where Z is the image number for that subject (between 1 and 20).
